Videos of Emma

As many of our family and friends are out of town, here are some short videos of Emma. We hope you enjoy seeing her learn, discover and play!

The Odyssey

We recently held a customer event for our Top Producers on board The Odyssey II at Chicago's Navy Pier. If you are ever in Chicago, it would be a great romantic evening for you and your significant other. The ship cruises all year round and takes its visitors up north to Evanston and Northwestern and south to Soldier Field and the Aquarium. It is a fabulous view of the beautiful skyline!
Below is the link and a couple stock photos.

When we were booking this event spot in November I thought I was crazy! Who would enjoy being on the waters of Lake Michigan in the middle of January...but we all did! It was perfect. It had gotten up to 66 degrees that day in Chicago and we were able to go to the top deck, stand outside without coats and take photos! It was amazing! And beautiful! We had about 90 people on board, served drinks and dinner on the main deck and dessert on the top deck, all while a trio was playing!

The DEKALB 100th Anniversary Chopper was at the hotel of the event for over 1,000 customers to see. Built by Paul Jr. Designs of Discovery's American Chopper: Senior vs Junior, it is being auctioned off for all proceeds to benefit the American Red Cross! If you know a collector or an agriculture enthusiast, please send them to dekalb.com/100 to bid now!

Cora turns 4!

We have another princess in the family with a January birthday. Cora turned 4 and she celebrated with two of her favorite things: Oreos and ice cream! It was a sweets extravaganza with a complete ice cream bar!

Cora's princess PJ's from Disney World! I picked them up on a business trip!

Cora thanking Baby Emma with a hug. Cora and Avery call Emma Baby Emma.

What are you coloring, Avery?

Happy Birthday, Cora! We can't believe you are 4 years old! We remember the day you were born and how much joy you brought into our lives.
We love you!

Biff!

Emma's little cousin is almost here! Biff, as we refer to him until Taylor and Aubree tell us his name, is due to arrive March 17th. We all flew to Columbus in January to celebrate. This was Emma's first plane trip (and mommy and daddy survived)! After being completely patted down during security we were delighted to find out that there were open seats on our SW flight and therefore would be able to take Emma in her car seat. She did great! She sucked on her binky, had a bottle and snacks and before you knew it we were on the ground in Columbus.

Aunt Aubree and Uncle Taylor have a kitty, Oliver, and a doggie, Tres. As we don't have any pets Emma enjoyed getting to know them. She warmed up quickly and before we knew it she was sticking her finger in Tres's nose and petting Oliver's paws.

I co-hosted a baby shower for Aubree at the Worthington Inn. We can't wait to meet our little nephew. We all made guesses on what his name will be and I chose Henry Michael Jones. We will soon find out! Aubree- I am so glad that we were able to do this for you, spend time with family and friends and cheers to your's and Biff's (Henry's) health!
